That's definitely the highlight of the week. We went to a castle today and got a tour of part of the inside and spent some time walking and taking pictures around the inside. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take pictures of the inside. Basically, the jist is that there once was a baron who married into one of the richest families in the world and used his wealth to satisfy ever small desire he had. The castle was actually built around the year 1900 to mostly resemble much older castles. It's..... awesome. Maybe I'll bring you guys here sometime =)
As far as missionary success this week, we had a ton of lessons, but zero progressing investigators. We dropped a few investigators, a few dropped us, the vacation season sucks, etc, etc. Life of a missionary in the Netherlands. We teach tons of lessons on the door though, I love doing that. Because the purpose is to bring the Spirit to them. We try to share a gospel principle or two, leave a commitment, and then pray with them. When it happens, it's awesome. On one day, we actually had 4 random lessons on the door. Woo hoo! It's just great to see how people feeling the Spirit suddenly change a bit, even if they don't recognize that it's the Spirit.
So I need advice. From everyone. I should probably try to figure out sometime soon if (1) I'm going to the U or the Y, (2) if I should live at home or on campus, (3) if I should study Music Composition or not, (4) if I should go to school on the 25th of August, when I get back on the 19th. Let me know what you all think please. Any advice at all would be much appreciated. Also, if this email could go posted on my blog as soon as possible, that would also be super awesome =D Thanks paps.
Another fun fact, I've been playing the piano A LOT for this ward. I used to play for the primary in Amsterdam quite a bit, but I've been playing the hymns for sacrament meeting and priesthood and random things in between. I guess Mom was right all those years ago when she said that piano would be useful to me on my mission...
Okay well I hope everything's going well with everyone. Sounds like they are. Love you guys, enjoy your week! Buh bye
