Bahhh you guys are freaking me out by saying how fast Jason's kids are growing up!! As for after the mission stuff, I really don't know what to do yet between the U and the Y... Part of me wonders if I should try out for the Y when I get back and see what scholarships I can get there. But if I'm going to go into Music Composition or Music Education, then it might be better for me to go to the U... Or the Y........ I don't know. I haven't really gotten a direct answer yet. I think Heavenly Father just expects me to pick my own decision on this one and then He'll help me out with whatever I choose. But I'll keep thinking about it every once in a while when I got time.
As for the degrees of glory =D Yeah, it's cool that we at least have the information that we do for the judgement. And basically, we have all that we need to have. It really makes you want to study your baptismal covenant more and pay more respect to all of the covenants and what they mean. Whenever the ''new and everlasting covenant'' is referred to, it's referring to all of the main covenants put together. And so we need to respect all of those the best we can if we want to make it to the third degree. But you already said all that. The second degree, is just somewhere in between that.... That's all we really know. I'm just glad that God's judging it and not me! I'm not sure if the second degree is just for those who don't honor their covenants as well as they could have, because that kind of goes along with the description of those who go to the Terrestrial Kingdom. I'm not really sure... I would think it just depends on how much you grow in this life, how your heart changes.
It's also interesting that our bodies are also perfected to degrees. For example, if you reach the highest degree, then you will also receive a perfect body. I'm not quite sure all that that entails, but there's just so many big and little blessings involved with just working a little harder in this life.
Anyways, sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun. Have a great week and let me know if you have any advice on after-mission stuff. Better to prepare sooner than later. Love you guys =)
