Ladies and Gentleman, I have been wearing at least a sweater almost everyday that I've been in this country. Past week, just a long sleeve shirt. Today, short sleeve shirt!! Woo hoooooooo!!!! The weather is great here. The breeze is a bit nippy sometimes, but otherwise good!
This week on The Life of Elder Johnson: Elder Sosa is gone and living in Chile now. It was sad to see him go, but I'm used to it now actually after saying goodbye to Elder Huff. It was pretty sad and a bit hard for Elder Larson though, because this is the first time he's done that. Figured out Elder Larson is actually a total answer to my prayers. I remembered that before I came here to Amsterdam, I prayed for a few attributes in my next companion. And even though Elder Larson and I have little in common with each other, he definitely is the companion I prayed for. So we had a really good conversation last night about how we were both the companions we needed for each other at this time. Awesome. Answers to prayers definitely come, it just took me a little while to find the answer to that prayer.
Contacting in parks is the best thing in the world. Amsterdam has some really big, really awesome parks. I tried this a bit before in the smaller parks in Hengelo, and I've realized that people are just so much more chill and willing to talk in the park. Especially when it's nice weather outside. So we've been doing that sometimes when we got a few hours to kill and nobody in particular to look up or visit.
Unfortunately, I have hardly any time at all this week to write a bigger general email. We're going to go try and hit up a museum or two today, not sure which ones yet. Things are going good here though and I'm having a lot of fun! It's really really good to here from everyone each week, so thank you guys a lot! I'll hopefully have a better email next week. Byyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
