Insert dramatic music. This transfer is gonna be awesome. Elder Thornock is from Bountiful, Utah and he's pretty dang funny. We're having a lot of fun together and the work is going really well. Of course I have to do most of the teaching and stuff, but he's coming along quick. He's just got a very strong drive to learn Dutch and to be good at doing missionary work. It's awesome =) And Saturday night, we got a call from this mom in our branch that said she wants her daughter baptzed this next Saturday while her parents are visiting from Peru. But her daughter is 9, so we have to teach her all of the missionary lessons in a week. It's gonna be crazy, but it's also a miracle in its own way and I'm really excited to help this girl get baptized.
Lake Powell sounds freakin awesome! I'm a little worried about getting everything ready for school, but we'll make it work. And I'll find time somewhere to hang out with friends before or after. Classes officially start August 31st, but I officially check in to the housing on August 26th and then they have a new student orientation thing during the next few days. But I don't have to stay in Provo that whole time.
I'm hoping to see three people baptized during these next six weeks, including that little girl. We'll see. The work is going great though and I'm going out strong. Plus i wanna have some cool p days.
Sorry I don't have much time to email right now, but thanks for all of the emails! Love ya guys!
