Holidays are all just so weird on a mission. With the debut of my music video from last week though, I'm expecting fan mail from plenty of girls within the next few weeks. Cough, cough.
This week, I drove to Brussels both ways. It sucked. It was also on a very stressful day. There was a lot of work I needed to do. Also, the trains were all late getting to the Mission Office, so we were late to our appointment and some of the missionaries were complaining about how they couldn't see more stuff in Brussels. Well boo hoo, it's not my fault somebody set off a fire alarm at Amsterdam Centraal and that somehow messed up all of your trains. So I'm pretty dang tired. But everything went surprisingly well considering all of the circumstances. Tender mercies happened the whole day, kind of balancing out all of the other crap. So that's good =) Then at the end of the day, we magically set up an appointment at a member's house with Kim and we watched some Bible Videos with them.
Kim's doing well. She told us what her fear really is and she just needs to overcome it. So it'll probably take time and a lot of prayer, but she'll be baptized some day. It was weird, I just felt super happy even while she was telling us about all of her concerns. It was kind of a confirmation that things are going well and this'll just take time.
We had dinner the other night at the Mission Home because I needed to go over the Fall 2014 yearbook draft with President and Sister Robinson before we print it out. That was a lot of fun =) That yearbook was created by a former missionary in America who did the other ones while he was serving here, but now I'm taking over! So I've already basically got most of the missionary's photos and info for the Spring 2015 yearbook (January-June). It's fun having projects like this =) I'm learning a lot and it lets me use my creative side more. The problem is, I'm getting more and more used to Windows. OS X is going to be really weird to go back to.... I don't know if I'll be able to do it....
Well sounds like things are going well back home. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Love you all, bye!!!
