HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLY AND HAILEE!!!!!!!!!! I hope you guys both had a good time =) Love you both a ton!!!!
Anyways, now that that's over with... Just kidding =D ha ha ha ha. Sorry.
Pablo from Berundy is getting batized today at 6 PM. And then after that, there's a ward Sinter Klaas party for the YM, YW, and YSA. So it's gonna be a good end to our P Day =)
Kim is also doing really well. She invited us over for dinner the other night and we had a really good talk with her the whole time. Something that I really love about our lives is that nothing's a coincidence. Teaching Kim right now is also perfect for me because she's also searching different career options. So it kind of lets me see from a third person's perspective how I should and should not go about doing this =) It's interesting. She told us this week though that she felt very strongly as she was praying that she needed to choose one church within the next couple of months. She actually even prays for help not to let her mind be distracted while she prays and that any inspiration she has can be led by the Spirit. Then she just waits for an answer. That's really what we should all be doing with our prayers. It was really cool to me to see how close of a relationship she has with our Heavenly Father.
Then she said, "And I went to the Roman Catholic church after that and didn't feel the Spirit as strong. So it's not that one." And we all kind of grinned and thought to ourselves, "One down!!!" Ha ha =) She's really searching for the true church though and doesn't want to go too quick, even though we all know that she knows this is the true church. So we're just continuing to meet and teach with her until she's ready. Tonight she's meeting us at the church for a lesson right before Pablo's baptism, then she'll go to that, and then probably to the Sinter Klaas activity after that as well. It's gonna be good =)
Right now I'm working on a small half-page report about this campaign we've been doing in our mission. And it's getting sent to Elder Ballard. So I'm peeing my pants a little bit. Of course it'll go first to President Robinson, then to Elder Teixera from the Europe Area Presidency, then to Elder Ballard. Let's pray that that all goes well...
Next week is transfer week, so that'll be fun doing all the crap for the arriving and departing missionaries. Craziest weeks of my life. Thank goodness for migraine pills.
PS, one of the present you guys sent is a little bit ripped and it looks like there's books in there..... Are those by chance music books that I should open now rather than on Christmas?
Have you guys ever heard of the card game Munchkin? It's the best thing of my life. Every P day since the beginning of November, us and the APs have been playing it. It takes like 3-4 hours though because we've all gotten so adept at it. Basically, you're goal is to get to level 10 by (mainly) beating monsters. So you can help each other out if you want, OR.... and this is what makes it amazing.... You can curse each other and ruin each other's lives!!!! It's insane. Ha ha ha =D So it's really crazy because you can just be tricking each other and relying on trust and bla bla bla. It's a bunch of combinations of cards though, so sometimes a ton of cards get thrown down in succession on one move and everybody's just going crazy and screaming. It's a blast. I can imagine it being even more destructive than Settlers. Believe it or not.
Well I miss you guys all a lot, glad to hear things are going well. Love ya
