Okay I'm gonna try and come up with some good experiences from this week now. First off, we (leaders within the zone) chose the other day to make our transfer vision about the Book of Mormon. Specifically, having questions that we answer with the Book of Mormon every week (at least). There's a lot of other stuff that goes with that, but basically I just wanted to say how freakin cool it is the experiences I've had already. I keep having this days where I'll pray about a practical question about something pretty dang specific, and then I'll open up the Book of Mormon, start reading, and an answer will pop out at me. It's amazing. Definitely strengthening my faith and reminding me that how perfect God's knowledge and power is and that the Book of Mormon obviously can't be falsified in any way.
We did a ton of service this week. Including painting, laying out lawn, and weeding. These past couple of weeks, I also found a couple of really cool places. One is a wakeboarding park in a lake that uses all of these cables to pull you around the lake. It's super cool! That was in Utrecht. The other was in Ommoord and it's a ski park, but in the summer they put tarps over all of the crazy things on this big hill and you can take your tubes down it!! They also have part of it with water going down that splashes into a pool of water. But the rest is just dry and they oil up the bottom of your tube. It's crazy! I'm tempted to find out if we can do that for P Day. Then, I also went on a super long bike ride (contacting along the way at random houses and with pedestrians) around a huge lake. It was beautiful. Saw a ton of just beautiful scenery and awesome things. Moments like that, make me wanna live here... Probably not gonna happen though.
Yesterday, after much prayer for a miracle to happen because I was just beat and dead tired of contacting, Elder Giles felt prompted to look up an investigator from a really long time ago. So we dropped by and this guy opens up the door, covered in tattoos and rings in various places on his face. He's holding a newborn baby and suddenly looks super excited to see us! He invited us in and said how he had just been thinking that he really wants to be going to church. He just loves his new son so much and really wants his family to be involved in church. He's already taken steps along the path and has been looking up stuff about Mormons online. This guy's getting baptized sometime. I'm not sure how long it will take, but someday.
Okay I love you guys and hope you all have an amazing week! bye!
