Miracles are popping out left and right. There are just so many little things each day now that make me so grateful for my relationship with God. The biggest miracle has been the baptism of the girl I mentioned last week. She is absolutely prepared and she wants to serve God so badly. She keeps talking about how she's going to serve a mission in a year and a half. Part of me hopes that she'll actually stay home and serve her family though because they need her so bad. It's really sad when a couple of her brothers and one of her sisters try to tempt and disuade her. But she knows what's right and she's got a great moral compass. I think that comes especially from her reading in the Book of Mormon each day and continuing to pray to God for everything. She's a huge example for a lot of people right now, including us four elders and many of the members in our branch.
Besides that, we've been inviting a lot of people to baptism lately and one of our investigators plans on being baptized after he recovers from his surgery. He received a very clear answer about the truthfulness of the BoM and Joseph Smith. He's been super prepared through all of his life experiences and different paths that he's wandered on.
The sad news is that I'm the only one staying here in Genk... Elder Larsen heads home tomorrow, Elder Parr is going to Zaandam, and Elder Warner surprisingly also got transferred to Rotterdam South. So I'll be getting my new companion Elder Paur tomorrow and hopefully be able to start taking over the work of two companionships in a city (and country) that I just got to 6 weeks ago. I'm pretty nervous because there's a lot going on and I still don't know my way around everything here. But God's got a plan and I love the branch and the investigators we're working with.
Well I love you guys a lot and I hope things are all going well, have a great week!
