What??! Ha ha sorry, that subject title just popped into my head all of a sudden as I started to type. But it does kind of apply. New Years was, again, absolutely crazy. Remember last year how there were tons of fireworks going off all across the sky 360 degrees? Same thing again, but this time I'm in a bigger city. It was awesome =) Outside of our house, there were a bunch of drunk kids that were setting off these huge fireworks that kept setting off car alarms. It was actually kinda funny. People have some crazy awesome fireworks here though. And of course, the next morning, the city is just filled with trash and it's a ghost town. Bunch of drunks....
I think I forgot to tell you guys that I can drive stick now. I practiced first for 30-45 minutes one night, then the second time I tried it, I just nailed it. Kicked butt. So yeah, Chris's WRX is mine. Just kidding =)
So with the gifted money for Christmas, I went and bought a nice suit =) It's this darker blue Zara suit. It's awesome =) I'm gonna take it in to get it hemmed today hopefully and then it'll be ready to go. I also got a nice sweater and some much-needed socks.
I've got some questions really quick for my BYU application:
1. Annual Gross Income of Parents (Combined)?
a. $25,000-49,999b. $50,000-74,999c. $75,000-100,000
2. How many quarters (out of 4) did I get on the Honor Roll (GPA of 3.5 or higher)?
3. What are some other achievements I've had since my junior year? My application is mainly filled out from the beginning of my senior year, so I gotta just update it and tell them how awesome I was my senior year as well =D
Also, I'm dumb. Can somebody give me a rundown of how my first semester of college is going to run? How many classes will be just generals? All of them? Do I even start on my major (Commercial Music) yet?
PS, I'm gonna try getting internships and then work at a sound studio first. Maybe I can internship at Disney. That'd be freakin awesome. But when I start out at the Y, I'm gonna try and teach Dutch at the MTC.
But how is housing gonna work as well? What's the whole process behind these things? Any info would be much appreciated. Would it be better for me to live with Chris (if that option is still available by the time I get back) or to just apply for campus housing?
Well I love you all and hope this week's great. "Hang in there, John!" -Anna from Frozen
