There's a difference ya know. Stop accusing me =) I do have some important questions/comments: Concerning the Subaru, it would be nice to have a car, but that's actually gonna probably be more of a hassle than a help at this point (Click Here to See Why!). I'd rather get a student pass for the frontrunner or something. And a bike. But I'm curious if Provo has good public transportation and a decent price for students. I'm pretty dang used to the bus and train life now. It'll suck for dating at times, but chances are that I can find rides with people =) I also don't really wanna have to pay for gas and insurance right now.
Item 2: Just fyi, BYU now unfortunately requires that somebody in my 6-man appartment buys a router. So I'll probably need to email them at some point. But that kinda sucks. I hope we get a good one. When and how am I gonna get all the stuff I need for college...? Do I need to start just emailing you guys a list or answer questions from you guys or just wait until those 5 days when I'm back? Will you guys buy my school books or is that part of the 5-day fun spree, haha. No need to worry yet =) But it would be nice to have a general plan laid out.
Item 3: I'm going to be registering for classes in a couple weeks, any advice from anyone? I'm going in to the Computer Science: Animation Emphasis major and I'd like to probably do 15 credit hours per term as well as hopefully work somewhere. The MTC for example. I would prefer to have school in the morning and not have to have school or work over the weekends. Good plans so far? Anything I should watch out for?
Item 4: Am I forgetting to prepare for anything else...?
Oh and please don't forget to let me know how much money is in my account =) Thanks, much loves and gratitudes.
Anyways, we're seeing all sorts of miracles lately! A girl from the other elders' investigators just decided to get baptized this next Sunday before Elder Parr and Elder Larsen leave. So we're all working to teach her everything before that Sunday. She's incredible though. She's like 17, her grandma is baptized and her mom used to be, but then her mom wrote herself out for some reason and strongly dislikes the church. Its really sad because they're a family of like 14 with several different dads involved and they're all living very humbly in one house. A ton of kids! They're the coolest family ever though and just full of love and energy. Anyways, this girl has basically been helping all of her siblings read in the Book of Mormon and pray, but some of the older ones make fun of her for it and her mom and a couple of the kids actually get mad at her for it. But she's prayed about it and told us that she's received undeniable answers that its all true. So she reads and prays in secret most of the time, which we didn't really know about for the past few months that she's been truly investigating by herself. She's made a huge turn-a-round in her life, all by herself. And she was really really afraid to ask her mom about getting baptized, but she kept telling us that she was gonna pray for help. Then when she asked her mom, her mom said it was her own choice to make. So it's happening! Crazy. She's gonna be a huge example for her younger siblings. Her grandma is so excited.
Besides that, we had two investigators come to church and they had really awesome experiences. And the other elders had two investigators as well at church, including the girl getting baptized. By the way, our branch has basically fifteen active members or so. The priesthood is a group of four members and four missionaries usually. It's a little nerve-racking to bring investigators to church and see what they think, but our investigators all had awesome experiences yesterday. Thank goodness for miracles =)
Well I love you guys and hope that everything is going awesome! Hopefully mom had a really good birthday! Love ya'll =)
